Visit Thingvellir National Park

Iceland has many national parks, but the most famous is Thingvellir National Park. It is worth visiting for its historical significance, as this is where Iceland’s early laws were made and signed. The park also has many hiking trails, so you can spend the day walking around. You will likely take lots of photos.

Visit Geysir and Strokkur Geyser

You should know about Iceland because it has many geysers, including the famous Geysir and Strokkur. You can watch them erupt, but be prepared to wait a while in line. When they erupt, the water shoots up into the air, sometimes as high as sixty feet. This sight is impressive to see, so be sure to check it out if you have time.

Visit the Blue Lagoon

The Blue Lagoon is another popular tourist attraction in Iceland that you might want to visit. This water has many minerals and beneficial ingredients that are great for your skin. You can sit there or swim in the lagoon for as long as you want. You will likely take many photographs of this water.

Visit Glacier Lagoon

One of the most beautiful sites you will see in Iceland is its glacier lagoon. Jokulsarlon is a glacial lake that has recently begun to melt due to climate change. This means it has much more water than usual. You can even take a boat tour on the glacial lagoon. This is one of the fascinating sites to see in Iceland.

Take a Whale Watching Trip

Iceland is also famous for its whale-watching tours. From May through September, you can watch majestic humpback whales from the comfort of a boat tour. This is one of Iceland’s most popular tourist attractions, so it is best to book your spot in advance.

It is essential to book your tours in advance when you visit Iceland. You can experience many of these attractions on a guided tour, so you don’t have to worry about getting lost. If you visit Iceland, you will have an adventure of a lifetime.
